*Since the Level 6 meet is so early, we are requiring the entry forms for those gymnasts already qualified for the state meet be sent to the meet director 2 weeks prior to the meet (as usual), but will allow one more weekend for qualifying. The final weekend qualifier entries are to be sent to the meet director as soon as the meets are completed.

Attached is the final PDF for the background screening. We will have the infromtion up on the website beginning on Monday, November 5. You may send this flyer out to your members and post on your websites. This information will be going out to clubs and professional members next week. We plan to open the site for background screening on Monday November 12.

Addendum to Competitive Age determination, each level has a MINIMUM age and even if they reach that minimum age by the date of state meet, they cannot compete until the have that birthday. See page 20, B of the Rules and Policies. A Gymnast must be 6 years of age to compete in a USAG Sanctioned event for Level 4 and 7 years of age for Level 5, 6, and 7. A Gymnast must be 8 years of age to compete as a Level 8 or 9 and 9 years of age to compete as a Level 10.

Qualifying scores are as follows. IF there is a need to adjust the score to increase participation, the State Committee will confer and make the determination.

The Committee voted to change the Level 4 & 5 achievement ribbons to correspond with Rules and Policies. Please see page 51 in the new R & P.

7.50 to 7.975   White Ribbon
7.475 and below Yellow Ribbon

Please note these are the minimum requirements. A Meet Director may choose to do placement, all around and/or additional color breakdowns.
